Membership Policy
1) Scope and Eligibility
This policy applies to:
· Standard Membership ($49 USD/year)
· Select Membership ($89 USD/year)
· Family/Friends Add-On Cards / Secondary Cards issued through a primary membership account (whether paid or gifted)
Refund window: You may request a refund at any time within 365 days of the date you paid for (or activated) the membership.
Refund Process: Once your refund request is approved, your membership benefits end immediately, and no further membership benefits will be available.
2) Refund Terms
Full refund within 1 year
· If you request a refund within 365 days of payment, we will refund 100% of the amount you paid.
Usage and Deductions
· There is no minimum usage requirement and no pro-rated calculation.
· Redeemed coupons, received discounts, or earned points do not affect your refund amount.
Refund fees
· We do not charge any cancellation or processing fees.
· If your payment provider charges any non-refundable transaction fees, we will cover those costs (where allowed) so your refund equals the amount you paid.
Refund Time
· After we confirm and approve your request, we will process the refund within 7 business days.
· The time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Transparency Refunds
· We will provide breakdown confirming: Amount Paid = Amount Refunded.
3) Refund Amount Calculation and Example
Refund Amount = Amount Paid
Example:
If you paid $49 USD for a Standard Membership, and you request a refund at any time within 365 days, your refund will be $49 USD.
4) Primary Membership Benefits and AddOn Cards (Family/Friends / Secondary Cards)
· If the primary membership is refunded, any gifted Family/Friends Add-On Cards or Secondary Cards associated with it will end at the same time.
· If an AddOn Card was purchased separately (paid), the cardholder may request a full refund within 365 days of that card’s own purchase/activation date.
· If an AddOn Card was gifted (free), the refund amount will be $0, and we will display a clear notice stating “No payment was made for this card; access ends when the primary membership ends.”
5) How to Request a Refund
1. Submit a request in the Membership Center or by contacting Customer Support, and complete identity verification.
2. We review requests (typically within 1 business day) and provide a refund summary showing Amount Paid = Amount Refunded.
3. If you notice any issue with the refund details, you may notify us within 3 business days. If we don’t hear from you, we will proceed based on the displayed details.
4. After approval, we process the refund within 7 business days, and notify you once it has been submitted.
6) Disputes and Additional Notes
· Discounted purchases: Refunds are based on the actual amount paid, including discounts or promotions.
· Free trials: If you are within a free trial period and no payment was made, the refund amount will be $0, and access will end when cancellation/refund is applied.
· After 1 year: Requests made after 365 days are not eligible for an unconditional full refund under this policy.
· Policy changes: If we update this policy, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before changes take effect.
· Appeals: If you disagree with the refund details, you may submit an appeal within 14 days after receiving them. We will respond within 7 business days.
· Company rights: KCM reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy in accordance with applicable law.
